The City of College Station wants to help you out this Valentine's Day with their Trail of Lights Date Night. The event offers a unique alternative to the usual Valentine's Day plans.

It includes a romantic, lighted trail and carriage rides at College Station's Wolf Pen Creek Park. If you forget sweets and flowers, they'll have those available as well.

There will be food trucks, gift vendors and the upper trails will be decorated with lights. Guests may bring their own refreshments, but glass containers are not allowed. Coolers must be 48 quarts or smaller. Pets are welcome.

The event is from 6:00 p.m.- 9 p.m. and is free to attend. For more information, visit cstx.gov/events
